Why, Hello! Thanks for stopping by my page!
Want to know a little more about me? Read on!
I am currently an NYC based performer... although I must admit, I am a proud Canuck (born and raised in London, Ontario). After spending a sticky, muggy, smelly, non-air-conditioned summer in NYC my junior year of high school, I knew New York City was the place for me! I busted my hiney and began studying for that crazy thing you Americans call the "SAT". Shortly after the big test, I was submitting applications for every American theatre school the Canadian version of Google would show me. After a crazy few months of cars, trains, buses, and planes, I managed to drag my darling mother to auditions at over 15 colleges across Canada and the USA. Luckily our hard work paid off and I had some wonderful schools to choose from. I felt the strongest connection to a wee school in Westerville, OH by the name of Otterbein University.
After four unbelievable years at Otterbein, I graduated with my BFA in Musical Theatre. Otterbein also set me up with an internship at Telsey + Company in NYC. My time at Telsey + Co allowed me to make some amazing connections, watch and learn from Broadway and film auditions, and eventually begin working as a professional audition reader (which I still do when I am not busy with a show). I now have an amazing apartment in NYC, beautiful new friends I adore, and some amazing theatre experiences under my belt. I'm looking forward to the next great adventure life throws my way, and hope we have the opportunity to share one together! :)
