She had the great pleasure of spending the last four summers at
The Barnstormers Theatre in Tamworth, NH. Amanda opened the 2014 season as Edwin Drood in The Mystery of Edwin Drood! Past seasons included Mary Jane in Big River, Catherine in The Foreigner (dir. Igor Goldin), Mehitabel Cartwright in Ten Nights in a Bar-room and Rosalind in Moon Over Buffalo.
In 2013, she understudied for the award-winning Off-Broadway musical Bunnicula! Prior to the Off-Broadway run, Amanda spent three months traveling the country with the first national tour, playing the roles of the frazzled lawyer, Mrs. Monroe, and a scrappy alley cat named Felony. Bunnicula has a book by Charles Busch, music by Sam Davis, and lyrics by Mark Waldrop. The talented creative team also included direction by Carl Andress, choreography by Connor Gallagher, and music direction by James Cunningham.

Amanda had the great pleasure of spending 11 months with Motherhood the Musical. This fabulous new musical comedy features music by Johnny Rodgers and Sue Fabisch and direction by Lisa Shriver (Broadway's Jesus Christ Superstar). It was an absolute hoot playing the wide-eyed, super pregnant, first-time mommy to be, Amy, at Society Hill Playhouse in Philadelphia, PA. After closing the Philadelphia production in Spring 2012, she headed off to Providence, RI, and joined the cast there as Principal Swing and Dance Captain for the production at Trinity Repertory Company.

Amanda had a ball playing Suzanne in Marc Camoletti's sexy farce, Don't Dress for Dinner! Directed by Christopher Alleman, the play ran at The Lake Dillon Theatre Company in Dillon, Colorado.

What a ride! Playing the wacky Bobbi Michele in Neil Simon's brilliant comedy Last of the Red Hot Lovers was definitely one of the highlights of her career so far! Working at New Harmony Theatre was a great honor.

What the critics are saying:
"Jackass Flats is funny, entertaining and thought provoking... Mauve as Kay and Amanda Huxtable as Ginny play their roles wonderfully... Huxtable’s Ginny, the opposite side of Kay’s coin, is not just all curves and pout, but heart and, yes, some brains there too." - David Fuller (TheaterNow)
"By far the best part of the show are the performances of Amanda Huxtable (Ginny) and Sienna Mauve (Kay), who create believable, juicy female characters with a lovely chemistry between them." - Hy Bender (HyReviews)
